Israeli Arab MK congratulates Hamas leader, Abbas on reconciliation
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleMK Ayman Odeh, leader of the Joint (Arab) List, speaks on the phone with Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh and with Palestinian Authority President Mahmmoud Abbas to congratulate them on the emerging reconciliation between their respective movements.
“Those who oppose Palestinian reconciliation oppose peace,” he tweets, in an apparent dig at Netanyahu, who today came out against any power sharing deal that doesn’t disband Hamas’s military wing and include recognition of Israel as a Jewish state.
Israel considers Hamas a terror group.
