Knesset approves Liberman as new defense minister
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleLawmakers vote in favor of Avigdor Liberman’s appointment as defense minister, and he is sworn in.
Of the 120 MKs, 55 vote in favor of the appointment, 43 vote against and one person abstains.
The Knesset Channel says that Likud MK Benny Begin is the person who abstained.
