Lucy Aharish says Je ne suis pas Hanin Zoabi
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleArab-Israeli TV presenter Lucy Aharish supports the disqualification of Hanin Zoabi from running to the Knesset.
On her Channel 2 TV show Aharish says “I think what Hanin Zoabi is doing… I don’t think this woman should represent me or be my face.”
“We do not live in an Arab country. We are lucky we can be proud of the democracy in which we live. These two people [Zoabi and Baruch Marzel] are two extremists harming the society in which they live. They are two people who add little respect, not Hanin Zoabi on the Arab side and not Baruch Marzel on the Jewish side.”
