Meretz chief: Herzog must quit after PM manipulated him

Meretz leader Zehava Galon lambastes Herzog for trying to join the coalition, and joins voices within his own party calling on him to resign as opposition leader.

“What we are witnessing is the bastardization of the political system by the chairman of Zionist Union, who should first and foremost resign as opposition leader and go home,” Galon says, according to Army Radio.

“He can no longer be opposition leader after the way in which Netanyahu dragged him like a rag in the market and then used him as paving stones to bring Liberman into the government,” she adds.
