Netanyahu, Kahlon announce plan to lower taxes

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon announce they intend to draw up a framework for reducing taxes, the Prime Minister’s Office says.

Netanyahu and Kahlon agreed on the measure after an economic assessment of last year, according to the statement.

Both leaders say lowering taxes will spur economic activity in Israel.
