Netanyahu resists calls to legalize Ofra after attack
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleNetanyahu is resisting calls to legalize Jewish homes in Ofra that are built on private Palestinian land in response to last night’s terror attack outside the West Bank settlement.
Netanyahu says at a Likud faction meeting his government is working through the courts to get retroactive approval for construction for Jewish homes, but “what you think is simple is much more complex.”
He expresses hope the homes will be legalized by the court. “If that can be done, wonderful. If not, we’ll see,” he says.
