Netanyahu vows to ‘thoroughly investigate’ death of 14-year-old Haredi protester

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu promises that the death of 14-year old protester Yosef Eisenthal last night “will be thoroughly investigated in order to draw all the necessary conclusions and lessons.”
In a statement, Netanyahu offers his condolences to Eisenthal’s family, and calls for “preventing an escalation of tensions, so that, God forbid, we do not experience further disasters.”
Eisenthal was killed when a bus driver plowed into a crowd of anti-draft protesters near the entrance to Jerusalem last night. The driver, who was arrested at the scene, was surrounded by rioters who were blocking the road and backed up initially before hitting the gas pedal and ramming into the crowd.
