One killed as several homes explode in Baltimore
Baltimore firefighters say an explosion leveled several homes in the city on Monday, killing one person and critically injuring others.
The explosion takes place at the 6500 block of Reisterstown Road, near where much of the city’s large Jewish community is centered.
Reports indicate a gas line may have been to blame for the blast.
The Baltimore Firefighters IAFF Local 734 says on Twitter that one person has been pronounced dead on the scene. The union also said that three people were in critical condition after being rescued by firefighters.
