PA, ICC officials meet on claims against Israeli settlements
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleSenior members of the Palestinian Authority present representatives of the International Criminal Court with claims against Israel regarding its settlements, Haaretz reports, quoting a Jordanian newspaper.
The paper says that the PA delegation at the meeting in Jordan comprises “lawyers and activists from the committee responsible for the ICC cases on behalf of the PLO and human rights organizations within the PA.”
The documents are connected to claims against Israel that the PA has already made to the ICC, Haaretz says. The paper quotes a PA official as saying that the ICC members were given a briefing on the settlements enterprise that includes “figures and aerial photographs, and the effect of the settlements on Palestinian lives.”
