Palestinian man reportedly crosses into Lebanon from Israel

In what some Lebanese media are dubbing a “reverse [infiltration] incident,” a Palestinian man has reportedly been apprehended after crossing into Lebanon from Israel, the Lebanese Army says in a statement.

“An Intelligence Directorate patrol detained a Palestinian man outside of the village of Dahira after he crossed the technical fence from inside occupied Palestinian lands,” the Army says.

While infiltration attempts occur occasionally from Lebanon into Israel, such movement in the opposite direction appears to be less common.
