Palestinian shot, wounded at Qalandiya checkpoint
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA Palestinian man was shot and seriously wounded by security personnel at the Qalandiya checkpoint after he ignored their call to stop.
According to initial reports, the man ran toward the security guards shouting “Allahu Akbar.” The guards called on him to halt, then fired a warning shot in the air and only then aimed at his lower body.
It was unclear why the Palestinian was running toward the checkpoint.
