PM calls Liberman for urgent talks on joining coalition

Benjamin Netanyahu invites Avigdor Liberman for an urgent meeting, moments after Liberman announces at a press conference that he does not rule out taking his hawkish Yisrael Beytenu party in the coalition government.

The two are expected to meet today at 4 p.m. at the PM’s office in Jerusalem, Haaretz says.

The PM’s efforts to bring in Liberman meet with approval from his ruling Likud party, with ministers openly supporting the move.
