PM set to suggest curfews in 40 cities instead of lockdowns
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleMultiple media reports are indicating the prime minister will suggest nightly curfews on some 40 cities with high infection numbers, instead of the previously planned full lockdowns of a smaller number of towns.
Such curfews would be in effect every day between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m., according to reports in Ynet, Walla, Israel Hayom and other outlets.
Non-essential businesses will be closed during the curfew. Schools will be closed at all times.
