PM, Tel Aviv mayor row over status of city school
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleTel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai, a member of the Labor Party, slams Netanyahu for his response to a plan to limit admission to a local school to children of migrant workers, whom the prime minister called the children of “infiltrators.”
When Huldai says the prime minister issues statements “like the last of the talkbackers,” Netanyahu hits back by saying the mayor and municipality “should be ashamed” both of the move to close the school and their response to it.
