Police: Texas hostage situation ends, gunman shot dead
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA hostage situation at a Walmart in Amarillo, Texas is over and the gunman is dead, local police say.
All the hostages are freed and are safe, according to law enforcement officials. Amarillo Police Department says its officers are inside the building, and that there are no confirmed gunshot victims.
*** UPDATE *** HOSTAGES SAFE **** PLEASE SHARE ****The suspect has been shot by APD SWAT and has died. Hostages inside are safe.
