Pro Assad commander: Drone targeted by Israel had been operating in southern Syria
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA commander for the regional alliance supporting the Assad regime in Syria says that the drone targeted by an Israeli Patriot missile earlier today had been conducting operations in southern Syria.
The unnamed commander cited by Reuters said the unmanned aircraft had been operating in the Quneitra province bordering the Golan Heights, suggesting that it had not been surveilling the Jewish state.
