Rivlin says Haley’s tenure a ‘turning point’ in US foreign policy
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GooglePresident Reuven Rivlin calls outgoing US envoy to the United Nations Nikki Haley an “envoy of truth” and says her activity “removed the cynical veil from processes promoted at the UN and in international organizations.”
In a statement, Rivlin adds that Haley’s tenure will be remembered as a “turning point in the US’s policy toward international bodies and their frequently discriminatory treatment of Israel.
“We will keep viewing Haley as a true friend and would be happy to welcome her at the President’s Residence during her next visit to Israel.”
