Settler leader slams High Court over demolition order
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe head of the Etzion settlement bloc in the West Bank reacts angrily to a High Court ruling ordering the state to demolish 17 illegal buildings, saying it demeans the government.
“The court decided to belittle the government that presented it with a variety of legal solutions that were inspected and approved by the attorney general,” Perl says, according to Walla. “I call on the prime minister to act immediately to pass legislation to protect the honor of the government and the [settlement] residents who acted in good faith and with the encouragement of the government.”
