Sex assaults ‘rampant’ in Tahrir
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleAround 100 women have been sexually assaulted over the last four days of mass protests in Tahrir Square, says Human Rights Watch, which alleges that the “rampant” attacks show the “failure of the government and all political parties to face up to the violence that women in Egypt experience on a daily basis,” according to a Sky News report.
