Shin Bet arrests 9 Palestinians planning attacks

The Shin Bet Security Service reveals today that Israeli forces have arrested eight Palestinians from the northern West Bank and one from East Jerusalem on suspicion of planning attacks against Israelis.

They were held in raids carried out between August and October, the Shin Bet says.

The Palestinians were planning to carry out several attacks against the IDF and also smuggle 2 kilograms (3 pounds) of gunpowder into Jerusalem, the Shin Bet says.
