Shooter said to have been an Egyptian soldier
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleIn a guarded tweet, Army Radio’s military reporter, Tal Lev-Ram, speculates that the shooter on the border was an Egyptian soldier.
“One can cautiously speculate that the shooting was carried out by an Egyptian soldier,” he tweets.

Meanwhile, reports say the victim was not a direct employee of the Defense Minister but rather an external contractor.
Recent years have seen a number of civilian contractors working on Israel’s border fences killed in attacks.
