Syria peace talks to resume February 8 in Geneva
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleSyria peace talks will resume in February in Geneva, the UN peace envoy says, as the UN Security Council votes to deploy observers to war-ravaged Aleppo.
“It is the intention of the United Nations to convene those negotiations in Geneva on 8 February 2017,” says Staffan de Mistura after the council unanimously adopted a French-drafted resolution to monitor evacuations from the city.
