US defense secretary talked with al-Sisi
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleEgyptian army head General Abdel Fattah al-Sisi talked with US Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel yesterday to discuss the Egyptian crisis, a Pentagon spokesman says.
The two military leaders also spoke last week, Reuters reports. Pentagon representative George Little said that the calls were not previously disclosed due to the delicate situation facing Egypt.
