A Ra’anana man on Sunday was sentenced to just over two years in prison for fraudulently claiming that he was a senior Mossad figure.

Shai Raz, 41, agreed to a plea bargain and was sentenced by the Ra’anana Magistrate’s Court to 27 months in prison, Israel National News reported.

Raz had falsely presented himself as a security specialist with a Mossad background, and fraudulently took hundreds of thousands of shekels in consultation and presentation fees.
