JTA — Former Alaska governor and Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin had not one but two posts on her Facebook page Thursday congratulating Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on his reelection.

“Thank you to the good people of Israel for supporting a leader who will stand up and fight for all the free world while other leaders sit down,” she wrote Wednesday.

In each post, Palin said Americans in the heartland “will sleep better knowing Bibi remains the voice of reason and strength in the beautiful nation of Israel.”

Bibi elicits a lot of reactions in Israel and abroad. Sleep, though, has to be a new one.

Congratulations, Prime Minister Netanyahu. Thank you to the good people of Israel for supporting a leader who will stand…
