Turkish Steel Delegation is coming to Israel

A high-profile trade delegation from the Turkish steel industry is coming to Israel to expand the current trade and economic relations

A high-profile trade delegation from the Turkish steel industry is coming to Israel to expand the current trade and economic relations with Israel. Steel Exporters’s Association (CIB) Delegation will be in Tel Aviv, between 17-20 September with 38 representatives from 17 companies.
Steel Exporters’ Association (CIB) will hold talks for new cooperation and joint investments within the scope of the trade delegation to be organized to bring together the steel industry representatives and senior officials of the two countries. Adnan Aslan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CIB, will be heading the delegation.

Bilateral business meetings between Turkish and Israeli companies will be held at the Hilton Tel Aviv hotel between 10:00 and 17:00 on Sunday September 18 th. Within the scope of the program, where more than 200 companies from Israel are expected to participate, company representatives of the two countries will come together and hold talks for new collaborations and joint investments. In addition to visits to official institutions and organizations, companies will hold individual meetings and the basis for increasing the trade volume between countries will be established.Registration for the event

Turkish iron and steel industry is one of the leading sectors of Turkish economy. Since its establishment at the beginning of 1920’s, Turkish steel industry has seen considerable innovations, reflecting a commitment to respond to the evolutions in global steel markets. Steel industry in Türkiye has witnessed consistent growth, expanding exponentially in response to strong global demand for high quality steel products. Today, with its 26 electric arc furnace mills (EAF), 11 induction furnaces and 3 BOF plants, Türkiye’s crude steel production has reached to 40.4 million tons in 2021. With these figures, in 2021 Türkiye was
Europe’s top crude steel producer, and sixth (6th) largest in the world ranking of steel- producing countries.

Türkiye is also one of the biggest exporters of steel products, holding the sixth place among steel exporting countries and top exporter of reinforcement bars used for construction. With high quality products, competitive prices and effective marketing strategies, Turkish steel exporters has a large market coverage; Turkish steel products have been exported approximately 200 countries and to all regions of the world.

By organizing this trade delegation to Israel, we are aiming to bring Israeli and Turkish companies together to explore areas of cooperation and new business prospects in order to create mutually beneficial and fruitful business relationships that will build a bridge between two countries to bring us even closer.
