At least one Palestinian was moderately wounded after being shot by soldiers Tuesday afternoon in the West Bank while attempting to cross over a walled section of the security barrier.

The wounded man, part of a group attempting to scale the wall, was taken to a hospital for treatment, Israel Radio reported.

The incident happened near the village of Beit Amin, where an IDF soldier was killed by a Palestinian last month after being lured there.

On Saturday, a 9-year-old girl was shot and lightly injured in the settlement of Psagot. The shooter is thought to have been a Palestinian from the town of el-Bireh who slipped into the settlement.
