The lifeless body of a young woman was discovered by police Thursday afternoon in northern Israel with multiple stab wounds on her torso.
Officers found Shelley Dadon, 19, in a Migdal Haemek parking lot during the course of a routine inspection, and pronounced her dead at the scene. The circumstances of the murder remain unclear, but police have not ruled out the possibility that her death was the result of a terror attack.
Dadon, a resident of the nearby city of Afula, was evidently on her way to a job interview when she was believed to have been assaulted.
“We are currently examining all angles — criminal and nationalistic,” Police Commander Zohar Dvir said, according to Channel 2.
Dadon’s parents arrived at the scene to identify Shelley’s remains.

“Why God, why?” her father screamed at the sight of his daughter’s body. “She was the only girl. Don’t take her away from me.”
The incident in northern Israel was one of two murders reported on Wednesday.
A woman in her thirties was stabbed to death in Ashkelon on Wednesday afternoon. Her boyfriend, 35, the primary suspect in the case, was taken into police custody, along with two other men and a woman.
