Alanis Morissette returns to Israeli stage this summer
The Canadian singer emerged with her hit album, ‘Jagged Little Pill,’ 23 years ago

Canadian singer Alanis Morissette, is bringing her powerful, emotive soprano voice back to Israel this summer with a performance at Rishon’s Live Park on July 30.
Morissette is a seven-time Grammy winner, and has sold 75 million albums since she emerged in 1995 with her first album, “Jagged Little Pill,” one of the bestselling albums in history.
She’ll perform all her hits, including “You Oughta Know,” “Head Over Feet,” “Hand in My Pocket,” “Ironic,” “All I Really Want,” “You Learn” and others.
Born in Ottawa, Canada, Morissette began writing when she was nine years old, and has performed with Ringo Starr, The Rolling Stones and a host of other artists.
Her ninth studio album will be released later this year, and the singer has also acted intermittently on television and onstage, including in eight episodes of the drama series “Weeds.”
Morissette is married to rapper Mario “Souleye” Treadway, with whom she has a son and daughter.
