Egyptian TV presenter: ‘Impale’ Obama

WATCH: In rant, Ahmed Moussa advocates for US president’s execution for complicity in terrorism

A popular Egyptian television host said US President Barack Obama deserves to be killed by Americans, because he is “connected to the terrorists” who carried out the San Bernardino killings.

During the live rant on Egyptian Sada El-Balad TV, which lasted several minutes, Ahmed Moussa referred to Obama’s statement on November 25 that there were no “specific or credible threats” of a terrorist attack in the US during the holiday season, and he suggested that the US president was complicit in the California killings on December 2.

Obama, according to Moussa, “numbs the security agencies, the military, and the intelligence agencies.” Obama is a liar, he charged, because “all the allies of terrorism are liars.”

Moussa usually begins his daily program — “Ala mas’uliyati,” Arabic for My Responsibility — with a 30-minute monologue in which he speaks passionately about various political topics. But his December 5 statements on Obama were particularly harsh, especially his overt call for Obama’s execution.

Moussa said that he “would like Congress to send Obama to the guillotine,” and later advocated for Americans to place the president on an impalement rod, because “this what they would do in a respectful country.”

This was not the first time Moussa has gone on extreme political rants. In a February 16 program, he described the US, Turkey and Qatar as the real supporters of world terrorism, and went on to say that Egypt must teach that “Zionist Qatari entity” a lesson it would never forget.
