Harvey Weinstein slapped by diner at Arizona restaurant
Man said to become angry when disgraced mogul refused to take a picture with him, then got friend to film him hitting him

Disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein was accosted and slapped by an angry man while dining in an Arizona restaurant, according to video obtained Wednesday by the TMZ website.

According to TMZ, the assailant, who was identified only as Steve, asked Weinstein to take a photo with him, when Weinstein refused, he became angry and went up to him and slapped him twice, calling him a “piece of shit” for what he did to those women.
He can be seen lightly hitting Weinstein with the back of hand while another man tries to block them from filming. TMZ identified the other man as Weinstein’s “sober coach.”
Weinstein has gone to rehab after being accused by dozens of women of sexual harassment, and numerous women have said he raped them. Weinstein, who is currently under investigation for sexual assault, has denied all allegations of nonconsensual sex.
Steve told TMZ that Weinstein was belligerent, however, witnesses said he had politely declined the photo. Steve then asked a friend to record what was about to happen.
TMZ said a spokesman for Weinstein confirmed the incident. He did not call the police TMZ said.
