Israeli actress Lucy Dubinchik was seriously injured on Tuesday after falling from the fourth floor of an apartment building in Jaffa.

Dubinchik, 34, was taken to Tel Aviv’s Ichilov Hospital, where she underwent emergency surgery.

The actress’s manager told Channel 2 on Wednesday that Dubinchik’s condition had stabilized following the operation and that she did not suffer any brain damage.

It was not immediately clear if the actress was alone when she fell and police were reported to have opened an investigation into the incident.

In 1996, Dubinchik won best actress at the Ofir Awards, the Israeli equivalent of the Oscars, for her acting in the movie “Saint Clara.”

In addition to films, Dubinchik has acted in a number of television shows and plays.
