Israeli tennis duo to face Roger Federer on Tuesday

Andy Ram and Jonathan Erlich meet 6th-seeded Swiss pair, who won gold in 2008

Israeli tennis duo Andy Ram and Jonathan Erlich face a tough draw in the second round of the men’s doubles event at the Olympic Games in London on Tuesday as they take on Roger Federer and Stanislas Wawrinka — who won gold in the event at the 2008 Games in Athens.

The Swiss pair, seeded 6th, won a tough match against Japanese partners Kei Nishikori and Go Saeda, 6:7, 6:4, 6:4, on Monday.

The Israelis advanced to the second round by defeating Spaniards Marcel Granollers and Marc Lopez, 7:6, 7:6.
