14-year old from Chicago makes it to the final rounds of America’s Got Talent

Edon Pinchot, the 14-year-old, yarmulke-clad singing and piano-playing Chicagoan, has advanced to the final rounds of the America’s Got Talent competition.

Along with 47 others, Pinchot was selected by celebrity judges from among 100 contestants during the three-day, televised Las Vegas phase of the contest to compete for a $1 million prize in the final rounds of the popular show, to be held in New York.

Pinchot, whom judge Sharon Osbourne compared to a young Billy Joel, has received almost 350,000 views for his YouTube cover of “Count on Me” by Bruno Mars.
