From Australian billionaire questioned in Netanyahu gifts investigation
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GooglePolice have questioned Australian billionaire James Packer this week as part of a corruption investigation into allegations Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accepted expensive gifts from wealthy businessmen.
According to Hadashot news, the questioning took place yesterday in Australia.
Packer has emerged as a key figure in the ongoing investigation, along with Hollywood producer Arnon Milchan.
Israeli investigators have been trying to interview Packer for months as part of the investigation but were not able to set up a meeting with him until this week.
