Bar Association picks lawyer for Judicial Appointments panel
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleLawyer Mohamad Naamnah has been named as the Bar Association pick to the Judicial Appointments Committee, which is tasked with nominating judges, including to the all-important Supreme Court.
Naamnah, the head of the Bar Association’s northern branch, wins the post with 26 out of 43 votes.
Bar Association head Avi Himi says in a statement he is sure Naamnah will help “strengthen public trust in the judicial system.”
