Channel 12 office door in Tel Aviv smashed for second time this month; letter leaves death threats
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA masked assailant smashed the glass door to Channel 12’s Tel Aviv offices overnight.
It is the second time this month that the network’s office has been targeted, amid a campaign by government ministers and loyalists against the channel.
A letter left at the scene includes explicit threats to smash journalists’ heads with a brick next time if Channel 12 doesn’t apologize for reporting on an case of abuse by IDF troops against a Palestinian detainee at the Sde Teiman facility.
Police have launched an investigation, according to Hebrew media.
