Chef says Sarona Market lost half its business due to terror attack
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleCelebrity chef Israel Aharoni, who runs a small restaurant at the Sarona Market, says business has fallen over 50% for many businesses at the commercial center since the terror attack that killed four at the site earlier this month.
On June 8, two Palestinians opened fire at the Max Brenner restaurant in the central Tel Aviv shopping area, killing four Israelis and wounding many more.
In a Channel 2 interview Monday, Aharoni says his own restaurant is changing its menu in an effort to attract new visitors, and adds that he understands those who are frightened to return to the site of the shooting.
