Clashes in Shuafat after funeral of Palestinian protester
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GooglePalestinian protesters throw stones and firebombs at Israeli troops in the Shuafat refugee camp in East Jerusalem following the funeral of a Palestinian protester who died of his wounds today after being shot in clashes with Border Police yesterday.
Police say he was shot after opening fire at Border Police late on Friday night, and the Red Crescent said he was killed by a live bullet at the clashes in the Shuafat refugee camp. He was identified by his family as 22-year-old Ahmed Qali.
Earlier, dozens of protesters burned tires and hurled firebombs in Hebron in the West Bank after the funeral of a terrorist who stabbed and injured a policeman in Kiryat Arba on Friday.
