Hamas courts in Gaza sentence two to death: NGO
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleHamas courts in the Gaza Strip today sentenced two men to death, legal sources and a human rights NGO in the enclave say.
The Supreme Judicial Council in Gaza announces that a court in Gaza City and another in Deir al-Balah sentenced the two to death by hanging in unrelated cases.
The Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR) says that in the first case a man was convicted of murdering his brother, while the second man was found guilty of premeditated murder.
The names of the individuals and their victims were not published.
Four people have already been sentenced to death since the beginning of the year in Gaza, PCHR said.
