Islamic Jihad ready for deal, but not at any price
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleKhaled al-Batsh, the Palestinian delegation’s Islamic Jihad representative, says that negotiation efforts in Cairo almost collapsed, before a 24-hour extension of the truce was agreed upon, Ynet reports.
He adds that “the Palestinian delegation is determined to achieve the demands of the Palestinian people and is willing to sign an agreement [with Israel], but not at any price.”
Batsh does not elaborate further.
