Jewish Agency to host virtual Independence Day party
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe Jewish Agency announces it will be hosting a virtual Independence Day party Wednesday that will feature entertainment from a number of Jewish celebrities and musicians, such as American signer Matisyahu.
The event will begin at 11 a.m. Eastern Standard Time and be broadcast on the Jewish Agency’s Facebook page.
“While these are challenging times for people the world over, Independence Day is still a time of a celebration,” agency chairman Isaac Herzog says in a statement. “While we may be apart during this crisis, the unity among world Jewry has only strengthened and we have all the more reason to sing: Am Israel Chai!”
