Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleAfter the Knesset memorial ceremony, which ended at 11 a.m., US Vice President Joe Biden held a quick meet-and-greet at the Knesset with Israeli leaders in the office of Speaker Yuli Edelstein. Attending the gathering: President Shimon Peres, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Edelstein, members of Congress Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Eliot Engel, and Dan Shapiro and Dan Kurtzer, the current and former ambassadors to Israel, respectively.
At 12:14 p.m., according to the White House press pool, Biden’s motorcade left the Knesset, headed to Sharon’s 1,000-acre Sycamore Farm in the western Negev, the site of the funeral from 2 p.m.
