Police detain Arab Israeli suspected of incitement to commit arson
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA Beersheba District Court judge approved a police request to detain a Rahat resident who is suspected of incitement in custody until Monday, police say.
His defense counsel has submitted an appeal, and a hearing will be held on Sunday to determine if the man will remain in jail.
The 24-year-old is accused of encouraging others to commit arson with a Facebook post, which he and others say was meant to be taken sarcastically.
