Police scanning Zichron neighborhoods for anyone left behind
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GooglePolice are still evacuating neighborhoods in Zichron Yaakov that have been hit by the fire.
An Israel Police spokesperson says officers are searching the houses to ensure that there are no remaining residents or “helpless people” who were unable to leave independently.
“We request that the public refrain from entering the area due to the danger of the fires spreading due to strong winds,” the spokesperson adds.
