Report: Justice officials hope to decide whether to charge PM within 10 days

Justice officials are hoping to reach a final decision on whether to indict Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on corruption charges in three separate cases within 10 days, Channel 13 reports.

The network also reports that senior prosecution officials believe the charge of bribery against Netanyahu in Case 4000 — the most serious charge facing the premier — should remain in the indictment.

There have previously been reports that the attorney general is considering removing the bribery charge, leaving only the fraud and breach of trust allegations against the premier in the case. Bribery is a much more serious charge, though fraud and breach of trust, if proven, can also entail jail time.
