Schumer says Israel barring Omar, Tlaib a ‘sign of weakness,’ will harm ties
US Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer pans Israel’s decision to deny entry to Democratic congresswomen Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib as a “sign of weakness, not strength.”
He says the move will harm Israel-US ties and reduce Americans’ support for the Jewish state.
Denying entry to members of the United States Congress is a sign of weakness, not strength. It will only hurt the U.S.-Israel relationship and support for Israel in America.
