Swastika found carved into Utah synagogue

A swastika has been found etched onto the glass door of a Salt Lake City synagogue, according to the rabbi of the Utah Chabad center.

Rabbi Avremi Zippel tells the Salt Lake Tribune that he believes the vandalism is related to the fighting in Gaza.

“Beyond the property damage, which is upsetting, to have that kind of sentiment scratched into glass on a synagogue in 2021 in Salt Lake City, I have to say, it really kind left us really shook,” Zippel tells the daily.
