Trump meets with Russian FM amid row over Kremlin’s influence
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleUS President Donald Trump has welcomed Vladimir Putin’s top diplomat to the White House marking his highest level face-to-face contact with a Russian government official since taking office.
The talks come one day after Trump fired FBI director James Comey, who was overseeing an investigation into Russia’s interference in the 2016 presidential election.
