Yad Vashem says Spicer’s remarks embolden Holocaust deniers
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe Yad Vashem Holocaust museum says White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer’s comments implying Syrian President Bashar Assad was worse than Adolf Hitler “strengthen the hands of those whose goal is to distort history.”
In a statement, Yad Vashem “expresses deep concern regarding the inaccurate and insensitive use of terms related to the Holocaust by the White House Press Secretary.”
The Jerusalem-based memorial center invites the press secretary to visit its website in order to “learn about the Holocaust and its period in history.”
